Dave Murzin boasts a distinguished 30-year career in government relations across public, private, and non-profit sectors, with expertise in fundraising and volunteer management. Starting as Deputy Tax Collector, he advanced to Chief Legislative Assistant, served as State Representative for Florida House District 2, and later founded the 850 Consulting Group. With a proven track record securing over $7.5 million in funding, he actively engages in initiatives such as broadband development and rural community designations. Currently the Director for First Place Partners, Murzin's multifaceted approach addresses economic development and immediate workforce needs, positioning NWFL as a premier worksite. Alongside his professional pursuits, he volunteers with Escambia Search and Rescue and contributes to the Rural Area Medical event.
